The Albino Bristlenose Pleco is a variant of the Common Bristlenose Pleco, distinguished by its pale, albino coloration. It has a creamy white or light orange body with red or pinkish hues, and like other bristlenose plecos, males have bristle-like appendages on their snouts. Typically growing to 4-6 inches (10-15 cm), this small, hardy fish is an excellent algae eater, making it popular for maintaining clean aquariums. It is peaceful, nocturnal, and prefers warm, slightly acidic to neutral water with plenty of hiding spots. The Albino Bristlenose Pleco is ideal for community tanks, as it is easy to care for and non-aggressive.
