Deep, dark ruby-red color, is almost opaque.. Ripe dark fruit is dominated by nice ripe notes of cocoa-butter & clean cedar. Tightly wound dark-fruit on the palate has plenty of tannins, while remaining supple. There are generous coffee & cocoa notes. Fresh acidity plays nicely against the supple tannins. Alcohol on the finish is warming but balanced & the finish has good length. Last tasted August 2021
