Andhra Murukku is a bold, deeply spiced variation of the classic South Indian rice cracker — named after Andhra Pradesh, a region known for its fiery, assertive cuisine. Where standard Murukku is mild to moderately spiced, Andhra Murukku is made with a significantly higher chilli ratio, making it one of the most intensely spiced snacks in our range. The base combines chickpea flour, rice flour, rice flakes, and roasted chickpeas and peanuts, shaped into the characteristic coiled Murukku form and fried to a deep, even crunch.
