Gingerbread Buttons, also known as Pepernoten.
A classic Dutch cookie - tiny, round crunchy bites similar to gingerbread and are flavoured with a heady blend of spices, including coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and nutmeg. It is traditionally associated with Sinterklaas and known in Belgium and The Netherlands.
Handmade without using any mould. Ingredients includes, self-raising flour, milk, butter, sugar and spices.
