Shou Sheng Debt, also known as Life Debt or Yin–Yang Debt, refers to the spiritual debt incurred before reincarnation. According to Taoist scriptures, before being born as a human, a soul borrows spiritual currency from the underworld officials in order to enter the human realm.
In this lifetime, the debt must be repaid to restore balance.
