What is Boba?
There are two types of boba used in our drinks. Their texture and taste is completely different, but they are both delicious and look like bubbles at the bottom of the drink. They shoot up in the fat straw when you drink.
Popping Boba used in our Fizz and Iced Tea drinks is made of fruit juice inside a thin gel skin. It pops when you bite on it, releasing all the fruity flavour. Two different but complimentary fruity flavours in one drink... yum!
Tapioca Pearls used in our Milky drinks is made of tapioca starch and is dark brown in colour. It gets soaked in a brown sugar syrup and the texture is soft and chewy... it's like eating soft jelly babies. (Sorry, Milky drinks are not available at Food Truck Fridays yet, since they need more equipment to prepare. Only available for weekend deliveries.)
