The Yemeni prayer garment / gamis is designed to allow for the exposure of hands easily as the one-piece gamis has an opening for the hands which is accompanied by an attached cloth to insert the fingers. It is sunnah to expose the hands and the face during solah.
Take note to sew up the hand opening according to the size of your wrist if it is too big for you, so that your aurah from the wrist upwards are not exposed when you raise your hands in solah for takbiratul ihram.
Sizes:
Size 1: 200-210cm (#1, #3, #4, #5, #7, #8, #9)
Size 2: 211-220cm (#2) (Floral)
Size 3: 221cm and above (#6)
Sizes refer to length of gamis only, measured when hung from the top of the face opening.
