Arabs of Singapore: 200 Years On
The story of the Singaporean Arab is a microcosm of the Singapore story. It speaks of how we celebrate unity in diversity, how pragmatism is the main lever of our success, and how integration is the very foundation of our existence. It is that same impetus that sets us apart, and allows us to thrive.
To celebrate more than two centuries of Arab presence in our island state, the Arab Network @ Singapore has put together ARABS OF SINGAPORE: 200 YEARS ON.
This is a mosaic of historical accounts, of mementoes and personal stories of our past and our present. It is the way ahead for us to define our community and live our aspirations.
