Mechanism of Action:
Nirmatrelvir is a SARS-CoV-2 main protease (Mpro) inhibitor, which blocks the viral replication process.
Ritonavir acts as a pharmacokinetic enhancer, boosting the levels of Nirmatrelvir by inhibiting CYP3A-mediated metabolism, thereby prolonging its antiviral activity.
