BSRC Games Carnival – Tekken 8 Tournament
1. General Information
1.1 The BSRC Games Carnival Tekken 8 Tournament is organized as part of the BSRC Games Carnival 2026.
1.2 Tournament details:
Date: 4 – 7 June 2026
Venue: BSRC Billiard Room
Platform: PlayStation 5 (PS5)
1.3 Tournament schedule (Tentative):
Saturday
* Pool A — 6:00 PM
Sunday
* Pool B — 1:00 PM
* Top 16 / Top 8 — 4:00 PM
1.4 The organizer reserves the right to adjust schedules depending on the number of participants and tournament flow.
2. Registration & Payment
2.1 Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been made.
2.2 Registration fees:
* Early Bird: $10 (Until 3 June 2026)
* Standard Price: $15
2.3 Registration fees are:
* Non-refundable
* Non-transferable
2.4 Participants must provide accurate information during registration.
2.5 The organizer reserves the right to reject incomplete or false registrations.
3. Tournament Rules
3.1 Tournament format:
* Round Robin / Double Elimination
3.2 Match format:
* Best of 3 (Bo3) for all matches
* Top 4 matches (Losers Semifinals, Winners Final, Losers Final, and Grand Final) will be Best of 5 (Bo5)
3.3 Players are required to report to the tournament area at least 15 minutes before their scheduled matches.
3.4 Players who fail to appear after being called may be disqualified.
3.5 Any cheating, unsportsmanlike conduct, offensive behavior, or intentional disruption may result in immediate disqualification.
3.6 Tournament officials’ decisions are final.
4. Controllers & Equipment
4.1 Players are required to bring their own controller and cable.
4.2 Brook Wingman converters will be available for players whose controllers are incompatible with PS5 (excluding keyboards).
4.3 PS5 Bluetooth functionality will be disabled to prevent match interruptions.
4.4 DualSense users are strongly advised to bring their own USB cables.
4.5 Players are responsible for ensuring their controllers are properly disconnected after matches.
5. Prize Pool
5.1 Tentative prize pool:
$100
5.2 The organizer reserves the right to adjust prize distribution depending on participant turnout and sponsorship.
6. Conduct & Sportsmanship
6.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards organizers, staff, players, and spectators.
6.2 Harassment, abusive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
6.3 The organizer reserves the right to remove or ban any participant who violates tournament rules or creates an unsafe environment.
7. Media & Promotion
7.1 By participating, players agree that photos and videos taken during the tournament may be used for:
* Marketing
* Social media
* Promotional purposes
without compensation.
8. Liability
8.1 Participants join the tournament at their own risk.
8.2 The organizer shall not be responsible for:
* Loss or damage of personal belongings
* Technical issues with personal equipment
* Injuries or accidents during the event
9. Event Changes
9.1 The organizer reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel the tournament due to unforeseen circumstances.
10. Acceptance
10.1 Registration for the tournament confirms that participants have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
