Special request by our Hokkien customers to make these Ang Yee 红丸 which are pointed Ang Gu Kueh. In the Hokkien tradition, the pointed version of Ang Ku Kueh symbolises the birth of a baby boy, while a baby girl is traditionally represented by the classic turtle shape ones. During the baby’s full month, Ang Yees are gifted to relatives and friends to mark this special occasion. Available in our brown-sugared dousha filling only.
