Pang's Hakka "Mother" Wine

客家娘酒 or Hakka "Mother" Wine are brewed in the most traditional way of using only specially selected glutinous rice, "wine biscuit" and water from an ancient well. A special technique of smoking the wine gives the wine it's characteristic caramel tone and deepen the taste. This unique wine is made in the most authentic way as Hakkas do for hundreds of years.    As it's name suggested, Hakka wines are usually made by the mother of the household and so it has been affectionately known as "娘酒" or "Mother" wine.
