WHY THIS BOTTLE?
Made by Podere Pradarolo, who’ve been quietly doing their natural thing in Emilia-Romagna since the early 2000s, Ex-Alba is a reminder that skin contact isn’t a trend — it’s a conversation. And this bottle has a lot to say.
There’s no oak, no filtering, no added SO₂ — just long maceration, patience, and a serious respect for how wine used to be made before everything got too clean. The texture’s slightly grippy, the acidity is snappy, and the finish is all minerals and dried flowers. It’s not trying to be easy — it’s trying to be alive.
Trebbiano grown in the hills of Parma, it spends over a month on skins, wild-fermenting its way into something that tastes like golden stone fruit, herbal tea, orange peel, and a bit of mountain air.
