Made from Nerello Macalese. Traditional.
PROFILE
Ripe red fruits, sweet spices, wild herbs
WHY THIS BOTTLE?
Made primarily from Nerello Mascalese with a touch of Nerello Cappuccio, this wine comes from high-altitude vineyards on Etna’s northern slopes. After fermentation, the wine spends about 14–16 months in French oak barrels, followed by a short rest in stainless steel before bottling. The result is a ruby-red wine that opens with aromas of red cherry, wild raspberry, and violet, layered with hints of tobacco leaf, earth, and subtle spice. This is Etna in a glass — smoky, soulful, and deeply rooted in its volcanic terroir.
