WHY THIS BOTTLE?
Jauma's Lilies Old Vine Grenache 2023 is a notable red wine from McLaren Vale, South Australia. Sourced from the Lilies vineyard in McLaren Flat, these vines were planted in the 1940s and thrive in deep white sand over clay soils. The vineyard is organically cultivated by Fiona Wood and owned by Karen and Peter Cahill.
The palate is greeted with a generous mouthfeel, filled with ripe red fruits, amaro herbs and delicate layers of spice. Softly extracted to reveal chewy tannins, really refreshing stuff.
