WHY THIS BOTTLE?
This is a very elegant, aromatic, and silky Pinot with perfect balance. The acidity is subtle but classic of a cooler climate region. The finish is clean, dry, and fresh. The aftertaste leaves just a hint of toast and mocha. In a blind tasting, it could easily be mistaken for a Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits. A small portion of the grapes undergo whole bunch fermentation with wild yeast. Aging in oak barrels lasts 16 months.
